​On the first Day of Ridvan, the news of the passing of Mr Abolfazl Ansari, the highly regarded scholar and distinguished servant of the Cause of God, brought with it an occasion of sorrow and grief. The splendid services of that promoter of the Divine cause in the spread of celestial breezes, the training and education of Bahá’í youth, and equally his endurance and loyalty to the love for the Blessed Beauty, continuing from the moment his radiant heart became illumined with the light of Faith until his last breath, is inscribed in the Guarded Tablet and without doubt is the cause of rejoicing and gladness on his ascending to the heavenly kingdom. In a tablet from Abdulbaha, it is written:

“After the Sun of Truth has set, every ascension has an immeasurable bounty, and there is great mercy connected with the ascent of a neighbour from this world; for those ablaze and athirst, water afresh, for the lost lovers, to the object of their desire in the most glorious paradise”.

What a happy destiny to the devoted lover who was successful in the fulfilment of the beauty of completion, on such a blessed day, to wing his flight to the Abha Kingdom.

The Universal House of Justice will recite prayers at the Holy Shrines that the Almighty God will immerse his soul which has ascended in the ocean of his mercy.
